Detailed below are the terms and conditions of Marquis & Dawe. In using and placing an order on this website you have agreed to and accepted these terms and conditions.

Prices include VAT* at the current rate and exclude delivery charges.
*VAT is excluded from some items in accordance with VAT Rules.
Whilst we try to show clear pictures and true colour images, computer browsers may show colours differently. Please bear this in mind when ordering.
Some items are handmade or hand finished and there may be a slight variation to that shown.
We endeavour to maintain our stock levels available online.
Where we are unable to supply items within our advertised timescale, we will contact you within 48 hours.
We will refund any payment within 3 days working days where we are unable to fulfil your requirements.
All orders are subject to availability.
Our acceptance of your order takes place when we confirm your goods have been dispatched. We always do this.
Payment is required at the point of order, in full.
Payment can be made using the following credit or debit cards; (Mastercard, Visa, Switch, UK Maestro, UK Visa Delta). We also offer payment through PayPal or Google Checkout.
We aim to dispatch stocked items within 3 working days of receiving your order. (Please see separate delivery terms for furniture items).
Delivery will be either using Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded or Interlink Express.
The majority of items will be received the next day following dispatch. Some areas of the Scottish Highlands and non-Mainland UK deliveries will take 2 days from the point of dispatch.
We will email or text to confirm your order has been dispatched.
All deliveries will be Monday-Friday, except when they fall on public and Bank Holidays.
All parcels will require a signature on delivery. Interlink Express will make 2 delivery attempts, if delivery has been unsuccessful the parcel will be returned and redelivery costs will be incurred.
Delivery timescales for furniture are given as an estimate. We always discuss furniture delivery with the customer.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that door and hallways etc. are large enough to handle and manoeuvre furniture through. The majority of our items with the exception of beds come ready assembled.
Where delivery teams have to walk excessive distances or there are health and safety risks that we have not been made aware of, goods will be returned to us and delivery charge will stand.
Free delivery is available on bedding and accessories orders over £100. Free delivery is available to Mainland UK only. Separate charges apply to all non-Mainland UK destinations.
Free delivery is available on all furniture orders over £1,000 and is available to Mainland England and Wales only.
You have the right to cancel and/or return any item. However you must inform us of your intention and the item returned within 7 days of receipt.
Cancellation of orders needs to be made in writing or by email.
Refunds for returned items are processed within 3 working days. All refunds are made via the original payment method.
Refunds are made less original delivery charge and any return charge costs.
We will not refund items that are returned after 7 days of original receipt.
Goods should be returned well packaged, in original box or packaging and in original new condition. The goods remain the customer’s responsibility until returned.
Furniture can be returned at the point of delivery free of charge. Subsequently if you wish to return a piece of furniture the charge will be £50 to arrange.
Any goods received that are faulty must be reported within 3 days of receipt. We will contact to discuss replacement of item, repair or replacement of component part.
We reserve the right to repair or provide component parts to any faulty goods received.
We will only use the information we collect from our customers lawfully.
We will only collect information we require to complete your order or to inform of any new products or special promotions which we feel you may be interested in. If you do not wish to be contacted please contact our office by email or telephone and we will remove you from our mailing list.
We will never pass your details on to a third party other than those needed to process and deliver your order.
We will never sell your details to any third party.
